Hi! My name is Jack. For the last ten years, the mojave desert has been my home. In that time I have developed a body of work that includes ceramics, jewelry, sculpture and painting inspired by the desert around me. All of it is fun and exciting to me, and I am constantly trying new techniques or using new materials to experiment and push my own boundaries. In many ways, the desert has been a really good teacher.

I plan to use this website to showcase my artwork, but also to post blogs about my life in the desert featuring subjects like my plants and permaculture projects, my dogs, new artworks made by me and other artists on the property, and the beauty of this landscape.
